Luxury Modern Classic New Build Home Tour: Bright, Airy, and Pops of Pastel in Rockwall, TX

We’re absolutely thrilled to share this home tour with you. What you’re about to see is the culmination of a dream of our friends, Tammy and Jesse. Collaborating with a talented designer, they’ve transformed their vision into a stunning reality. As we step inside, we can’t wait for you to be inspired by every detail.

Who doesn’t love a grand entrance? And this one is stunning! Two cascading chandeliers from Visual Comfort with striking white strié glass flanked on either side by floor to ceiling walls of Chicago brick. The juxtaposition of the earthy brick and elegant glass are make this space sing!

Directly ahead you see through the walls of glass doors to the outdoor space which draws you in. To the right of the foyer is the large family space, a sitting room with four chairs comfy chairs in a pretty plaid. Again, this space is surrounded by walls of glass bringing the outdoors in. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee and to cozy up with a book.

Adjacent to the sitting area is the living room with more beautifully upholstered seating. The couches are tone on tone paired with 2 cozy chairs in a warm blue velvet. Lots of seating and this family loves to host family and friends so it works very well. The showstopper, however, is the fireplace feature with the porcelain marble inlayed with gold. The fireplace is richly appointed on either side with stunning white cabinets by Currey & Company with oversized gold floral hardware that adds a little whimsy! Above each cabinet is modern art pieces in white, together with the stone fireplace and white cabinetry, further makes the entire wall a piece of art.

In view of the living are and in the center of this large open floor plan is the dining space. The long oval white table with warm cane chairs is timeless and traditional. The more modern chandelier plays well with the dining room and ties in seamlessly with the rest of the rooms.

Just beyond the dining area is by far one of the most beautiful, luxurious kitchens we’ve ever seen. Light fills this room from windows all around. There is not one feature that stands out from the other, each one is stunning in its own right but works perfectly with the next. A massive island in a rich wood with open shelves is front and center. The cabinetry along the walls is a light exotic wood. The dark island is topped with white quartz and the light cabinetry is finished with a dark leathered granite, which we mistook for soapstone. This material looks similar but you don’t have the maintenance of soapstone. The cabinets are recessed into amazing brick archways.

A beautiful gold vent above the range ties together with the stunning gold fixtures. Cafe appliances, along with a built in Suvi make this a true chefs kitchen. Other fun features are the hidden walk in pantry. From the herringbone brick floors to the beautiful beams in the ceiling this is the kitchen of our dreams.

The patio is an extension of the home as the glass doors can open allowing a flow from indoors. It is well appointed with furniture as pretty as the furnishings inside. The fireplace is great for the cooler days but there are also built in heaters in the ceiling to really warm you up! And one of the other features is screens that drop down to keep the bugs out on a summer night.

Primary Bedroom

The primary suite is light and bright and airy. Though it has beautiful wool carpet grass cloth wall covering to create a cozy feel. Like so many ceiling throughout the home, these are treated with shiplap and beams. The modern chandelier really lights up the space! And the dresser is a vintage piece designed and up-cycled by the homeowners daughter, bringing in a curated look to this beautiful space.

Primary Bathroom

The on-suite is large and modern. Bright marble and porcelain floors and walls is the perfect backdrop to a warm wood floating vanity with uplights. An elegant wagon wheel chandelier is the star of the show. And more textured wall coverings further elevates and warms the space. Every attention to detail was given throughout.

Prayer Closet

Off of the primary closet is a small prayer closet, the homeowners must have and a room she uses every day. The space is small and intimate for quiet time. And you might not even know it’s there, it’s perfectly hidden away.

Bunk Room

Upstairs you’ll find the kids spaces. But they’re every bit as sophisticated as the downstairs. The large bunkee/playroom has enough room for all the friends. The bunkbeds are done in baby blue hues to match the soft pale blue wool carpet. This space is oversized and wide open for kids to run and play!

Girl’s Room

The homeowners daughter’s room is pretty in pink. The chandelier is one of the most beautiful in the home. This room will definitely be able to grow into a teen and adult room. The bathroom has timeless marble in white. The vanity wall is pink herringbone tile with the sweetest sconce complete with a bow. The mirrors are above the vanity, along with every other detail are something of fairy tales.
