Mom has always loved creating a space where even strangers feel at home. This hobby led to us later launching Farmhouse Living together in the spare room of her house. We love sharing inspiration on our blog to give you the confidence to create a home you love. Our goal is not just to show you pretty things that feel impossible, but achievable inspiration.

Hi! I’m Shelby.
My love for home design was a process. It started with me simply publishing my mom’s home online to eventually me taking on my first renovation of my own home then me helping clients with mom!
It’s my passion to show that a beautiful home is accessible no matter what phase of life you’re in. I have two kids ages 3 and 1 so family friendly design is always top of mind when taking on a project. I love to mix vintage and new along with higher end pieces and budget finds!

Mom has been decorating and into the latest style trends for as long as I can remember. She’s the best host and is always up for a celebration. If you’re looking for someone to make you laugh while giving you home inspiration you found your girl. Mom doesn’t take anything too seriously and that’s what makes this whole venture so fun (and interesting 😉).

Home Tours
We’re best known for Home Tours. We started by simply asking our friends with beautiful homes if we could share them on our YouTube channel. This quickly grew into us asking strangers (who quickly become friends) to invite us into their homes to show us the best inspiration. This has been the most fun adventure and our favorite part of the blog.
