We flipped a house! It’s our first flip ever and we’ve so excited to give you a tour and our experience renovating it 💕This house was a labor of love and we’re so excited for the memories to be made by the future family who purchases this beauty.

I’m so excited to be kicking off our Flip House series with this project—Painting the Fireplace! Mom and I decided to fill our quarantine with a new adventure and we flipped our first house. This is the first of many projects we’ll be sharing in this home.

Today we’re going to talk about mixing design styles in a home. We’re going to start with examples of homes that have mixed styles well and share what styles they mix! Then after you’re inspired we’ll share our best tips to design with multiple styles.

Today we’re excited to share another DIY with you that we’ll call faux wallpaper. Last week we toured our friend Joanna’s home and called her style Artsy Farmhouse. We loved her statement walls so much in her dining room and her master bedroom that we asked Joanna to come over and help us add a statement in my friend Mattie’s laundry room.

One room that has had me stumped since we renovated our home is the office. It doubles as our guest room and stores a lot of misc things for us. I needed a project that could jump-start my vision for this space and when I saw DIY Pin Boards on Pinterest I had to take them on. This is a great project because it’s EASY, CHEAP (less than $25), and versatile.
