It’s so fun to see the tree stuffed to the brim with ornaments and lights everywhere. The problem is it’s very time consuming, you need extra space for all the Christmas fluff and then when you strip your house after the holidays it looks bare. All this to say, my motto this year is less is more. 

It’s no secret that we’re coffee lovers at Farmhouse Living. I mean when we were searching for coffee mugs to sell in the store we chose the BIGGEST ones we could find. When Lucy, the team photographer, told me she wanted to set up a coffee bar in the kitchen of her new home I was a huge fan of the idea.

Valentines Day falls on a Tuesday this year and we are not mad about it because — FIXER UPPER. This weekend the Farmhouse Living team decided to gather early to inspire you to have Galentines Day Fixer Upper Style.

On a recent trip to Round Top we were guests of The Prairie. And we couldn’t have been more thankful. While this trip was in the fall, Texas heat, along with extreme humidity made shopping almost unbearable! So time spent in the mid 1800’s prairie farmhouse updated with modern amenities like A/C was a dream.
