Today I’m excited to share updates in mom’s master bedroom along with the design plants for her master bathroom. While we do this we’re going to share our tips on how to stay motivated while taking your time to design your home.

Currently, we are working on the playroom in the new house. In this post, we are going to start with my favorite inspiration to launch into my design, and then be sure to scroll all the way down for links to my favorite playroom finds. I’ve rounded up storage pieces, beautiful toys worthy of display and play, lighting and accents in general.

Last week I shared my hall bath transformation! It’s one of my first projects completed in my new home and one of my favorite projects so far. One part of this project that completely stumped me was how to make the 8ft builder grade mirror look like it went with the rest of the bathroom upgrades I made. Luckily I found the perfect solution to frame the mirror that is cost-effective, easy to installing and looks amazing!

I’m so excited to finally be sharing my own home tour. We’ve been renovating this 1960’s ranch for almost 5 years and as we were wrapping up the projects, we fell for a new home (that also needed TLC) and we sold this beauty. As we come to a close with our time in this home it’s time to give a full tour including all the changes we made. I can’t wait for you to see how far it’s come.

When we put up holiday decor the house feels so full and festive! I love the cheery feeling it gives then when it comes down it feels empty and I get an urge to add more decor. Although minimalism has been a trend over the past couple of years and in general is a look we enjoy, the house feels too minimal when seasonal decor comes down. Anyone else feels this way on Jan 1? Ever look at bedroom inspiration on Instagram and think, “I’ll never be able to pull that off”? Even as a designer and home enthusiast myself, I can overthink all that can go into a well-styled bed. Because your bed is usually the largest object in the room, a well-styled bed is the fastest way to give your bedroom a finished look. While giving my guest room a refresh I thought it’d be helpful to share my best design tips to create a bed that you love in any bedroom.

2021 Resolution: Keep the house dog hair and dirt free. I love our fur family and I can’t imagine a life without our pups (and chickens). I joke that we have a little suburban farm and with the addition of a one-year-old baby we have become very familiar with mess. Today I’m sharing my weekly routine for cleaning this house with all our pets!
