We usually don’t change out our navy place settings. But we decided to mix it up a little with these vintage-inspired dishes and Cinderella Pumpkins! We LOVE the way it turned out. We admit we like non-traditional fall colors. These more muted pumpkin colors of pale orange and green blues are the perfect match with the glass jade dishes. Cinderella pumpkins or Fairytale pumpkins definitely give our table an enchanted feel.

We found these dishes at Walmart from the Pioneer Woman collection. I love that so many of these pieces have vintage-looking embellishments that make them timeless and unique. There were so many affordable options for fall gathering at Walmart. I even upgraded my cast iron pan and dutch oven that was cute enough to serve in. That’s truly form and function there!

Sometimes it’s fun to add things in unexpected places. The moss was an idea we found in a tablescape on Pinterest. The place settings seemed unfinished so we popped a pumpkin in each bowl and layered a pampas grass stem on each plate. We added a few succulents in more of our favorite green hues and the nature-inspired look was complete!

We also used the Pioneer woman goblets which I’m so excited to serve in this season. The shape and detail on them are so fun. They correspond perfectly with the glass cake stand we found in the same collection.

DINNER MENU

Some in our family are also into non-traditional holiday foods. We try to accommodate both those who love ham and turkey and the odd ones out who don’t by creating menus that include similar comfort foods! For example, we’ve made Cajun Christmas, Roast Chicken with Creole Stuffing, Maque Choux Corn along with rolls, and some other familiar sides.

In this menu, we made a yummy dinner from the Pioneer Woman fall favorites, including Pork Tenderloin with Cranberry Sauce, Maple Bacon Brussel Sprouts, and Mac & Cheese! The vintage-inspired goblets were so stunning filled with Pomegranate Champagne Cocktails! We loved it all so much we decided on this for our Thanksgiving meal this year!
