Fall Home Tour: Nature-Inspired Seasonal Decor Ideas
Welcome to our Fall Home Tour! 🍂 Truth is we took these photos last year and I realized I never shared them on the blog. We’ve been swamped with some BIG projects lately, including the biggest one we’ve ever taken on (stay tuned for the reveal next week)! With everything going on, we’re a little behind on our fall decor this year. But to tide you over, here’s a throwback to last year’s cozy fall home tour! 🍁
This tour is filled with seasonal touches that make our home feel warm and inviting. Whether you’re a fan of traditional fall decor or prefer a more natural, understated look, we’ve got tips to inspire you.

Dining Room: A Simple and Elegant Tablescape
Fall is all about gathering, and our dining room is the perfect spot to celebrate. We kept things natural and easy this year, using greenery from the yard, small pumpkins, and Magnolia leaves to add thoughtful touches. To personalize the space, we used a Cricut to print the word “thankful” on each leaf, giving the table a whimsical, organic feel.
The wicker baskets we used as chargers are both functional and stylish. They come with a paper lining, making them perfect for daily use—even with little ones at the table. These baskets are definitely an investment, but they’ve been worth every penny in reducing paper plate usage and adding a rustic element to our tablescape.
Kitchen: Decorating with Nature and Food
In the kitchen, we love keeping things simple by decorating with natural elements, especially food. We used a mix of real and faux pears, along with a favorite fall wreath hung above the sink. This wreath has become a fall tradition—when it’s up, it’s officially autumn in our home!
A fun, budget-friendly tip is to display cookbooks opened to seasonally appropriate pages. For fall, we’ll open to recipes featuring cozy fall dishes. It’s an easy and practical way to add a seasonal touch without spending any extra money.
Breakfast Nook: Fresh Estate Sale Finds
Our breakfast nook didn’t get a huge fall overhaul, but it’s still fresh and fun with a few simple updates. We added small pumpkins and repurposed some flowers from other rooms. The plates we found at an estate sale give the space a touch of vintage charm, adding a unique element to the fall decor.
Living Room: Cozy and Inviting Fall Decor
The living room is where we really embraced the cozy fall vibes. We styled the mantel with a fresh garland and a mix of pumpkins, keeping it simple but impactful. Pumpkins can be pricey, but we shopped around for a deal, and once the season is over, the pumpkins will make a great treat for our chickens!
On the coffee table, we went with one large statement pumpkin instead of smaller items. It adds a bold, clean look to the space, which we love for keeping things visually uncluttered.
Bedroom: Simple Yet Beautiful
Although we didn’t add much fall decor to the bedroom this year, the room still feels cozy and welcoming. We’ve recently updated the space, and it’s become a beautiful oasis, so it didn’t need much in the way of seasonal decor. However, we’ll definitely be bringing out the Christmas decorations in this room as the holidays approach.

That wraps up our Fall Home Tour! We hope you’ve enjoyed seeing how we’ve brought the beauty of the season indoors. From the natural elements in the dining room to the simple, functional decor in the kitchen, we’ve embraced an easy, budget-friendly approach to fall this year.
