Fall Home Tour 2021 – Simple Natural Inspired Fall Decor

I really can’t believe it’s fall! I know I say this every year, but this year has flown so much faster than I expected it. Although it’s still warm in Texas mom and I were so excited to decorate for fall in a nature inspired way. We brought free cut stems in doors and spruce up with a few pumpkins. This is truly the easiest way to decorate seasonally and is so affordable. I hope you enjoy!

DINING ROOM

The dining room felt like it was made for fall this year with the rustic beams and 14ft table. It’s so warm and ready for gathering.

Many people would assume that navy isn’t a fall tone, but mom shows that it goes so well here. She’s used these navy dishes in so many seasons in this room. I hope that inspires you that you don’t have to change all your accents from season to season to have an impact.

She made a flower arrangement from stems she purchased from Central Market. The stems are affordable and they look whimsical and beautiful even when the arrangement isn’t formally put together. I’m hoping they look great as they dry too!

KITCHEN

When decorating seasonally in the kitchen we always like to keep it simple so that the function for the room is still there. We cut stems from the neighbors oak tree. The leaves haven’t turned but I loved that they had acorns on them so it was a really fun fall touch.

We also turned the cookbooks to a fall recipe and sprinkled a few pumpkins in. It’s simple, but really welcomes the season in.

BREAKFAST NOOK

We spruced up the breakfast nook with a new quote on the large “Letter Board.” We DIYed this one, but you can also find it on Etsy. It’s been a lot of fun to change out for parties and seasonally.

LIVING ROOM

In the living room, we layered in pampas grass, pumpkins and eucalyptus. These are the easiest ingredients to a nature inspired fall home. Mom used eucalyptus stems on the mantle to add some whimsy.

We normally have the metal wood holder stocked and ready for fall, but we haven’t ran and got a load since the big ice storm last winter in Texas. We used much more fire wood than we had in the past trying to stay warm without power. We’ll stock up soon!
