First, we’d like to thank Ollie for partnering with us on this home tour. We love feeding our pups the best food and Sadie, the cavapoo, is very picky so finding something that’s healthy that she loves is hard. All of Ollie recipes are human grade, no preservatives or fillers, no fake meats – all fresh from our farm suppliers. Kibble and processed dog food can contain chemicals, fake meats, dyes, and contaminants. Our pups have loved the recipes! We’ve seen shiny coats and decrease in allergies for the both of them. The best part it’s delivered straight to your door. Delivery is free, fast and comes in the cutest box. You will receive your food frozen in dry ice with a welcome kit and your puptainer. The food will be stored in your freezer and then thawed in the fridge for 24 hrs before you feed your dog.

MUDROOM AKA “Dog Room”

Let’s start our tour with the mud room aka that “dog room. We’ve toured this space individually on the blog before. This room had a pretty great transformation as you can see with the before. It had dated tile and a built-in that had significant water damage from a small flood that happened at one point. We replaced the flooring and created a bench sitting area to dress it up a little. The rustic beam that we used for the bench is actually the same as the ones in the dining room ceiling.

MASTER BEDROOM

We’ve actually never shared this room on the blog because it still isn’t completely finished. We wanted to update the paint color on the walls, change out the doors to the bathroom, and a few other updates. This room was the last on the priority list because it was functional, but we’ve actually grown to love it without the bigger updates.

One thing we want to highlight is the dog bed spaces. Dog beds aren’t always the most aesthetic item in a room, but we have found one that we absolutely love from Zuri Rose & Co. It’s big enough for the bigger pups and still looks great in a corner of a room. I love that they’re ethically made. We love supporting small businesses like theirs. Sadie, the cavapoo, has a blanket at the end of the bed where she can cozy up. Using blankets makes it easier to keep furniture and bigger bedding clean. Just toss the blanket in the wash rather than the entire comforter!

LIVING ROOM

The living room is where we get the most questions because mom has a white rug and white sofas. This really intimidates people but we’ve found that the slipcovers on the sofa are so easy to toss in the wash and they hold up great. Also, the layered rugs protect the bottom rug and the thinner top rug is easy to take to the laundry mat.

Another tip is of course the roomba in the living room. It’s hidden behind the fiddle leaf fig and simply picks up all the hair and dirt that comes with having a house full of pups.
