7 Bathroom Designs You’ll Want to Steal (Templates Included!)
Feeling overwhelmed picking out bathroom materials? We totally get it—tile, counters, floors, walls… it adds up fast. So we’re giving you the gift of peace of mind with seven complete bathroom combinations you can copy with confidence. These are real bathrooms with real materials, and we’re breaking down the exact ingredients so you can hand them straight to your contractor.
1. The Earthy Retreat – Park Place Primary
This design is all about warmth and grounding tones. We kicked things off with a bold quartzite countertop and built the rest of the space around it. It’s moody, natural, and incredibly serene—like a spa tucked away in the forest.

Ingredients:
- Countertop: Tahiti Quartzite
- Shower Wall Tile: Daltile Spirit MM30 in 3×12 (this one is very similar)
- Shower Floor Tile: Daltile Paloma Gray Mosaic Picket
- Main Floor Tile: Accidental match (and we love it!)

2. The Warm Moody Mix – Michelle’s Primary Bath
This space is proof that you can mix dark and light, moody and airy, and still get something cohesive. Inspired by contrast but softened for livability, this bathroom strikes a perfect balance between drama and calm.

Ingredients:
- Shower Floor Tile: Basalt Limestone Hex
- Back Shower Wall Tile: Charcoal Herringbone
- Main Wall Tile: Large Format White Porcelain
- Porcelain Accent Tile: Similar to discontinued original

3. The Blush Bathroom – Park Place Upstairs
Playful yet refined, this upstairs bath leans into pattern and texture in the sweetest way. The vertical-horizontal tile layout adds a boutique hotel vibe, and the soft blush tones keep it feeling romantic and fresh.

Ingredients:
- Wall Tile: 2×6 Blush Gray Vertical/Horizontal Pattern
- Shower Floor Tile: Bianco Bello Marble Mosaic
- Main Floor Tile: Classic Marble
4. The Luxury Hotel – Park Place Guest Bath
Designed to give guests the full five-star treatment, this bathroom is elegant without trying too hard. We mixed warm tones with bold edging and created a cozy vanity nook that feels both intentional and elevated.

Ingredients:
- Wall Tile: Daltile Lana Zellige Neo
- Feature Floor Tile: Maniscalco Topiary Leaves 12″x12″ Stone Mosaic from Daltile (or this one)
- Main Floor Tile: Large Format Beige
- Countertop: Marquino Grigio Quartz (Soapstone Lookalike)
- Trim Detail: Bronze Schluter
5. The Storybook Bathroom – Stephanie’s Daughter’s Bath
This one has timeless charm with a twist—it feels vintage and curated but still functions like a modern space. From the herringbone floor that flows into the shower to the rosy base trim, it’s the kind of bathroom that makes you pause and stare.
Ingredients:
- Countertop: Gray Quartzite
- Floor & Shower Tile: Herringbone Porcelain
- Shower Base Trim: Rosy Ceramic Tile

6. The Spa Retreat – LAD Primary
Clean lines, soothing tones, and organic texture make this modern bathroom feel like a true escape. The pebble shower floor gives it just enough warmth and contrast to keep the all-white palette from feeling sterile.
Ingredients:
- Shower Floor Tile: Marble-Look Pebble Mosaic
- Wall & Main Floor Tile: Large Format White Porcelain
- Vanity: Floating, Lighted
- Countertop: White Quartz
- Accent: Blue-Detail Chandelier
7. The Forest Escape – Broken Bow Airbnb by Cavy Interiors
This design was a happy accident turned trendsetter. The custom basketweave tile pattern was a tile guy mix-up that we ended up loving, and it’s now one of our favorite ideas to steal. It’s organic, moody, and has a ton of movement.

Ingredients:
- Wall Tile: Aloe A25 in 3×12 (cut into basketweave)
- Alternate Patterns: Try alternating vertical and horizontal
Design Tips for Your Bathroom Install
- Plan Your Layout: With highly varied tiles, lay them out first to avoid patches of too-similar tones.
- Pattern Matters: Want timeless? Go brick. Want modern? Go stacked. Want a statement? Go basketweave.
- Don’t Skip Edging: Whether it’s a bullnose, marble trim, or Schluter, always finish those edges!
